!Peninsula Daily News 305 West First Street Port Angeles, WA 98362 Deaths and Funeral Notices Louise Marie Harrison, March 10, 1915 -- March 25, 2002 Longtime Port Hadlock resident Louise Marie Harrison died in Seattle at the age of 87. She was born in San Francisco, Calif., to Luigi and Angiolina (Andrini) Bendinelli and married Kenneth Earl Harrison on Jan. 16, 1944, in San Francisco. The couple lived in the San Francisco Bay area, where Mrs. Harrison was a homemaker, a volunteer with the Medical Mission Sisters and an active member of the Parent Teacher Association. In 1972, the Harrisons retired to Port Hadlock; Mr. Harrison died in November 1996. Mrs. Harrison moved to Jacobsen House in Seattle about four years ago. During her years in Port Hadlock, Mrs. Harrison was a member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, the Friends of the Jefferson County Library and the Tri-Area Garden Club and was a volunteer at the Kah Tai Care Center. She also was an opera lover and a lifelong student of Italian, her first language. Survivors include daughters Earlene Stover of Beuhler, Kan., and Mareth Fulton of Seattle; and nine grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Rose Cummins, and a son, Ken L. Harrison. Services: Friday, May 3, 1 p.m. memorial Mass at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 1335 Blaine St., Port Townsend, with the Rev. Raymond Heffernan officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Kosec Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
