CEDAR RAPIDS - Lauren Earl Harman, 57, of Decatur, Ill., died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008, in St. Mary's Hospital.
Lauren was born Oct. 15, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Alvin Lauren and Mary (Holmes) Harman.
He worked 34 years and 11 months for Sherwin-Williams.
Surviving are his wife, Penny; children, Matthew Harman of Mount Zion, Ill., Karen Harman of Springfield, Ill., Scott Harman of Urbana, Ill.; grandchildren, Amanda Harman and Joseph Harman, both of Mount Zion; mother, Mary Harman of Cedar Rapids; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Kasner of Cedar Rapids; and siblings, Virginia McCotter of Algonquin, Ill., Alvin Mark Harman, Bonnie K. May (Dwayne), Spear Harman (Leanne), Mary Jo Harman, Bridget Ferry (John) and Willard Harman (Sue), all of Cedar Rapids.
